Introduction

Following Italian Legislative Decree no. 196/03 “Code on the protection of personal data” (hereinafter “Code”), this note informs how we, the company, use the personal data acquired from you, the data subject, at the present time or in the future.

The data in our possession, acquired in relation to business relations, are collected directly from the data subject. All data collected will be treated in respect of laws in force and with due confidentiality.

Treatment purpose

Personal data is only collected and treated for carrying out company business, in particular: contract pre-stipulation; filling contractual obligations on behalf of the involved party by implementing a deed, plurality of deeds or set of operations necessary for fulfilling the mentioned obligations; fulfilling the obligations connected with or instrumental to the contract and relating to any public or private institute; fulfilling legal obligations. In addition, data treatment is carried out for business and marketing purposes, even using the data subject’s electronic mail coordinates.

Treatment methods

Personal data are treated using manual, computerised and telematics instruments, with logics that are strictly connected to the purposes the data were collected for and in a manner that guarantees data safety and confidentiality in respect of the mentioned law.

Obligation of collection and processing

The collection of personal data for contract stipulation and fulfilment is also obligatory for legal and financial purposes, and refusal to supply said data makes it impossible to enter into relations with our company. Data treatment does not require the permission of the data subject.

Communication and diffusion

Personal data and its treatment will be communicated to companies in order to implement economic activities (sales, management, information system management, enveloping and sending off correspondence, credit management and protection), or to comply with legal obligations (accounting firms, law firms). The data will not be diffused. The data controller, the sales area and the administration area can learn about the data given.

Rights of the data subject

The data subject can contact the Privacy Service through the data controller to verify the data, have it integrated, updated or rectified and/or to exercise the other rights given in art. 7 of the Code (attached). In particular, data subjects can, at any moment and always through the Privacy Service, oppose treatment of their electronic mail coordinates for direct sales or marketing.

The data controller is: Valfussbett Srl with headquarters in Via dell’Artigianato 6 – 36078, Valdagno (VI). The data processor is: Crestani Stefania, domiciled for this office at the headquarters of the data controller.

Art. 7 Italian Legislative Decree 196/03 (Right to access personal data and other rights)

  1. L‘interessato ha diritto di ottenere la conferma dell‘esistenza o meno di dati personali che lo riguardano, anche se non ancora registrati, e la loro comunicazione in forma intelligibile.
  2. Data subjects have the right to obtain an indication of:
    1. the origin of the personal data;
    2. the purposes and methods of treatment;
    3. the logic applied in case of treatment using electronic instruments;
    4. the identification details of the data controller, the managers and designated representative pursuant to section 5, sub-section 2;
    5. the subjects or categories of subject to which the personal data can be communicated or which can learn about them as the designated representative in the territory of the State, managers or persons in charge.
  3. Data subjects have the right to obtain:
    1. data updating, rectification or, when interested, integration;
    2. data cancellation and/or transformation in anonymous form and/or the blocking of data treated in violation of law, including those for which preservation is not necessary according to the purposes for which said data were collected or subsequently treated;
    3. confirmation that points a) and b) above have been brought to the attention of those to whom the data were communicated or diffused, unless doing so is impossible or requires the use of means that are grossly disproportionate as to the protected right.
  4. Data subjects have the right to oppose, either fully or in part:
    1. treatment of their personal information for legitimate reasons, even if pertinent to collection;
    2. treatment of their personal data for the sending of advertising material or direct sales or for carrying out market research or sending business communication.
